Obama vs McCain: 2008 Election Paved
Posted on February 22, 2008 by Jonathan Carr |

It appears that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is starting to show signs of weakness that will lead to the end of the road for her 2008 Presidential Campaign. I am sure there are a lot of people, possibly including her, who still believe she has a shot, but lets be realistic…Obama has victorious momentum. He leads in total delegates and the people of the United States are falling in love with him. I have heard him compared to being the next JFK or even LBJ. I tell you what..when he speaks, I find myself actively listening to what he has to say. The Democratic people of America have made it clear that they want change, and what better way to express that than nominating a young, open-minded, and intelligent senator such as Barack Obama. If Hillary ends up loosing by only a small amount of delegates, I seriously doubt she will pull a dirty stunt with the super-delegates to get the nomination. Such an action would destroy the Democrats for decades.
Although I strongly disagree with most of their political platforms, I would like to take some time to give credit where credit is due. In the past few years, Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and US Senator Hillary Clinton have made strong, independent, and brave political journeys as women. Both of them will probably be remembered as the women who began the equalization of sex in politics. In the future of this great country, we will see more and more women running for positions such as President of the United States and US Speaker of the House of Representatives and I have to give credit to Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi for stepping up to the challenge and being so brave. It is really quite awesome to see that neither sex nor race get in the way of qualification for such important positions.
Moving forward, I am confident that the 2008 Presidential Election will feature US Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) running against US Senator John McCain (R-AZ). Seems like both are very moderate and both are very good speakers. I guess the real question is what weighs more in the heart of the voter? Experience or Education?

I used to wonder why people stay in when it is very apparent they will not be elected but I think they run for other positions and offer a choice which, in some measure, gives the appearance of a democracy. I also like Obama as a person and do think, in this country, it is high time we elect a minority and also a woman but I think that person should be Condoleezza Rice. I want McCain in but hope she is somewhere in the future. Talk about an intelligent lady!
No way..Hillary is not out of the race by any means! How can you make such a bold prediction?
I have made earlier and bolder predictions than this, my friend. Hillary has lost 10 states in a row. After Obama wins Texas and Ohio, you will be remembering this blog and that crazy guy who called it early.
I wouldn’t vote for Hillary in a thousand years. Obama is going to mop the floor with her.
Well said! I am excited to see how Hillary will handle her loss.

this is the most biased and stupid website, barrack obama is the worst candidate i have seen in any election. he is the most under achieved, under qualified, and is being elected because he has friends and money 80M to be exzact. if he wants to give our money and give it to the “less fortunate” and “share it around” he can give some of his damn money.
point is - worst candidate….doomed country
